A Little About Me…
It took me a little while to figure out what I wanted to be when I grew up but I went back to school after working for years in non-profit organizations and there I rediscovered a lifelong passion for photography. I graduated from Southern Illinois University with a Bachelors Degree in University Studies with a minor in photojournalism and psychology. My studies were concentrated in photography, photojournalism and multi-media. My images have been published in four books produced by Southern Illinois University. And I continue to learn as a member of WPPI (Wedding & Portrait Photographers International) and PPA (Professional Photographers of America).
I was born and raised in Poplar Bluff Missouri and moved to Illinois twenty-five years ago. My husband is a retired Army Reserve Colonel and a retired Police Lieutenant ~ we understand what it means to serve your country and community. I love my husband and all our four-legged children (Dobermans). I volunteer my photography time at Free Again Wildlife Rehabilitation to help save injured and orphaned wildlife.
